Microsoft´s Next Gen Console Specs VS PS4
As you may know, Microsoft´s next generation console is set to unveil on May 21st. New info has come up regarding Microsoft launching two different versions of their console, both of them in time for Christmas.
There will be a $500 dollar edition and a $299 edition requiring a two-year subscription to Xbox Live Gold. There is still doubt regarding whether you will be able to play second hand games since the new console will be requiring a constant Internet connection. I myself doubt the connection will be ¨constant¨. I think it would be more likely that if your connection got dropped you would have let´s say a 15-30 minute window to establish your connection again. The console might run on Windows 8 so that users playing games on the OS may access their games on the new console. Microsoft has made an effort to have an unified eco-system across all the devices, such as PCs, smartphones, tablets, and now, consoles.
Comparing Specs
The specs for the new PS4 have not be finalized, we know from a tech video released recently by Epic Games that part of their Unreal Engine 4 is running on a PS4 development kit. The game looks incredibly clear, clean and the graphics leave you amazed.
Sony's newest Playstation console will be shipped with an eight-core 64-bit processor based off AMD's "Jaguar" line of processor chips. It´s graphics chip has Radeon technology and is approximately in line with the Radeon HD 7850. However, 720p rendering and scaling to 1080p combined with optimization means there could be a huge leap in quality.
The PS4 packs 8GB of RAM, a huge increase over the 512MB in the PS3, as well as a BluRay player that is three times faster than the PS3's. The RAM is high-speed GDDR5 to maximize the system. The console's design photos have not been leaked or released yet but rumors have come out stating that the price of the new PS4 could be as high as $800 on the base model.
Microsoft's Next Gen console will boast 8 CPU cores running at 1.6GHz as well as a custom 800 Mhz graphics processor in its GPU. Microsoft´s console will call upon 32MB of fast-embedded SRAM and also feature for the fist time a 6x BluRay drive. The console's wireless connectivity includes both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct, and a Gigabit Ethernet port like the previous consoles.
Microsoft´s Next Gen console also comes with USB 3.0 and HDMI 1.4a, which supports 3D over HDMI, Ethernet, audio return channels and 4K resolution.

The Arrival of Microsoft´s Next Generation Console
For those who don´t know Microsoft will be announcing the new arrival of their next generation console on May 21st. The transmission will be broadcasted live through Xbox Live or through Xbox´s Official Site. We are not exactly sure what Microsoft is going to officially name their next gen console but there are a few names that have come up. The most known obviously is the Xbox 720 which could be the official title but no one is sure. Lets review the different names that have come up and their possibility.
First up is the Xbox 720, a title that mostly everybody has heard and believes the new console will be named. The truth about this ¨720¨ title is that it´s actually a fan-proclaimed name. Microsoft never gave a hint about naming their new console the Xbox 720. Some fan I imagine got the inspiration from the degree angle and just doubled the 360º thus becoming 720º. In my opinion, I highly doubt Microsoft will announce their new console the Xbox 720.
Next up is the Xbox Durango, a title that i´m sure would disappoint the Xbox Community. I mean Durango? Really? I don´t like the name one bit. It reminds me of the movie and has nothing to do with a next gen console. I could actually assure 99.9% that Microsoft will definitely NOT name their new console ¨Durango¨.
My personal favorite and the title that all my bets go to is: The Xbox Infinity! Here is a picture below that I found: (Courtesy of Reedit/C-Ron)
Could this name actually be the official title of Microsoft´s next gen console? I say yes. Of course I could be wrong but I take my chances with Xbox Infinity. I like the name and it describes what Microsoft is accurately trying to achieve with their next gen console. More names have come up but I just focused on the 3 more realistic titles worth mentioning.
What is your take on the official title? Leave a comment and stay tuned on May 21st.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Review
Recently I bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini and I just wanted to make a little review about it. I got to say that I am pleased with the performance and features. Before I made the purchase I was thinking on buying an iPhone 4S because the last one I had I accidentally lost. I wanted something similar to the iPhone 4S or preferably better. I never really had much experience with the android OS because mostly I owned iPhones so I decided to compare some different smartphones by price and specs. I browsed online comparing and I bumped into the Samsung Galaxy S3. Obviously the S3 version surpassed the iPhone 4s but I never liked smartphones that were too big more like a tablet sort of smartphone so I turned to the S3 Mini. It was perfect, the price was more attractive and the features were about the same except the iPhone 4S had a higher Mp camera. I compensated the MP with the higher battery capacity in the S3 Mini. I have owned the Galaxy S3 Mini for about 1 month now and I am satisfied with my decision and purchase. The smartphone satisfies my expectations and am starting to shift more to the Android OS than the Apple OS. Overall for the price and the performance my opinion is that the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini is better in every way. It is my opinion and understanding that the majority of smartphones users buy and lean towards the iPhones because of its popularity and not it`s performance. I myself bought my first iPhone based in this mentality. If the smartphone consumer community would research more closely the different brands and compare specs between smartphones, I would think that the Android OS based smartphones would triumph because of the superiority over the latest iPhone 5. So in conclusion it`s obvious that I am sticking to my Galaxy S3 Mini and in the future I will more likely purchase an Android based smartphone.
What is your take in this?
